Sun protection, also for the eyes

We need the sun and sunlight. Not only to keep us warm, but also to absorb important vitamins. For example, we replenish vitamin D through sunlight. This is important for our health and general well-being. It has been proven that vitamin D has an influence on the regulation of calcium levels and is therefore partly responsible for our bone structure. It, or the sunlight, is also said that it encourages our mind.

With all the good aspects of sunlight, protection must not be forgotten. We all know that our skin is very sensitive to too much sunlight, so we protect ourselves with sunscreen, umbrellas or hats. But the fact that we should wear sunglasses not only because of the glare is by far not known to all.
Our eyes have a small natural protection, but they can not completely absorb and regenerate the current load, especially in children. Therefore, it is enormously important to wear good sunglasses. Good means that they offer the necessary protection. Pay attention to the UV and glare protection - be careful, not all UV protection is the same! Look for a minimum value of UV 400.

In addition to all the protective functions, one aspect of the sunglasses must not be forgotten - they should also look good!
