Refractive error is not a disease, but the imperfection of the eye, which often also leads to headaches and watery / tired eyes. There are three types of refractive errors:

• Nearsightedness or myopia
• Farsightedness or hyperopia
• Astigmatism associated with hyperopia or myopia

You need high quality lenses and / or contact lenses (daily contact lenses / monthly contact lenses) ? Or sports glasses, maybe children's glasses for your little ones ? Are you interested in progressive lenses ? Do you know the possibilities of a so-called premium lens ? Have you heard of the EyeLT lens ? (with it the vision in the near field improves up to 40 %). Do you notice a reduced visual performance at short distances, but do not want to wear varifocals permanently ? (then there are varifocal lenses for you, i.e. "multifocal lenses" - these require a very precise fitting, somewhat more complicated than usual). If you have astigmatism, you are often best served with semi-hard (i.e., a middle ground between soft and hard) contact lenses. But maybe you just need protective lenses for various purposes ? Depending on your personal case and disorder pattern, you may also be entitled to certain benefits of the mandatory basic insurance and / or the supplementary insurance of the health insurance companies, e.g. in case of cataracts, diabetes, macular diseases, eye muscle disorders, amblyopia, or medication. You will be reimbursed by the health insurance for lenses, depending on the dioptric power in case of myopia, hyperopia as well as anisometropia. Irregular astigmatism, keratoconus, corneal diseases or curvatures / injuries, iris defects or status after appropriate operations are also supported.
