Part of our philosophy is to accompany you in a precautionary and holistic way. Our holistic eye examination is much more than a normal eyeglass lens determination. It includes additional measurements for preventive health care, as well as the examination of all important visual functions. Should we detect any abnormality, we will of course immediately refer you to an ophthalmologist.

The check-up includes:

• Medical history
• Pre-measurement
• Eye pressure measurement
• eye test
• Examination of the fundus of the eye

Please make an appointment for this with us by calling 061 703 02 02. This takes about 30 minutes and costs Fr. 49.-. If you buy glasses, the whole examination is free of charge. A contact lens fitting costs Fr 89.-.

This includes: 1st appointment During the initial consultation we determine your wearing preferences. When, where and how often you would like to wear the contact lenses. We will then examine the front of your eye to make sure it is suitable for a contact lens. Depending on your needs, we may also perform an eye test. Based on all measurements, we will then order a first pair of measuring lenses for you. 2nd appointment We show you how to use a contact lens. Together we will practice inserting and removing the lenses and see how the whole contact lens hygiene works. 3rd appointment You come for a check-up with the contact lens on your eye. The lens should already have been on the eye for at least 3 hours so we can look at the "long term fit". We will assess the movement and fit of the contact lens and discuss your wearing experience. If all parameters are in order, we can order you the definitive lenses.

If you wear the contact lenses, we recommend that you visit us once a year for a check-up. This contact lens check-up costs Fr. 79.- and includes all trial lenses. If you choose our contact lenses "with service", this amount is of course omitted.

Flying blind? This will not happen to you with us Do you want to get your driver's license or do you need to change a foreign driver's license? You can do it all with us.

Procedure: Print out the cantonal form or get it from the municipality (see links below). Take your officially approved identification with you (ID, driver's license, passport) If available: Bring glasses or contact lenses Visit us without an appointment The appointment takes about 10 minutes and costs Fr. 15.- for the moped test and Fr. 20.- for all other categories.
